Emily Pogorelc
Soprano
A proud native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Emily Pogorelc has quickly established herself as one of the most exciting young sopranos of her generation. She is a guest of many of the world's great opera stages and an ensemble member of the Bayerische Staatsoper 2022-4, where her roles have included Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) and Adina (L'elisir d'amore). A recipient of numerous prizes, she is equally at home on the concert platform, including alongside Rolando Villazón in an open-air concert in Bratislava and as soprano soloist in Mozart's Requiem with the Mozarteumorchester Salzburg and Pablo Heras-Casado.
