Daniel Harding kicks of his tenure as the new music director of the Orchestra and Choir of the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in dramatic style conducting Puccini's ever-popular operatic thriller for the first time in his career. The concert performance, which also form part of celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the composer's death, features a dream cast: acclaimed tenor Jonathan Tetelman sings Cavaradossi alongside Eleonora Buratto's Tosca, while French baritone Lodovic Tézier sings Baron Scarpia, the brutal chief of police who proves their undoing.
