The Making of “Pictures Reframed”

Two artists from two very different worlds come together for a fresh take on a Russian masterpiece. Norwegian pianist Leif Ove Andsnes and South African street artist Robin Rhode collaborated to offer bold new vision of Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, which was taken on tour around the world. In this “Making of”, we meet both artists as they begin their discussions in Berlin and follow them as the project develops. As they spend more time with one another and as their artistic visions coalesce, we witness a collaboration like few others come into being – a fascinating insight into the creative process and great art’s ability to cross boundaries and disciplines.
