In this 2005 documentary, filmmaker Benedikt Mirow follows one of the great musicians of our era at the height of her early career. By then, Hilary Hahn had already been dubbed the "talent of the century", and she quickly established herself as an icon of the classical musica world. This film follows the young violinist as she jets from one concert to the next in the metropolises of the world – maintaining all the time the professionalism and self-possession of a pop star. And in accompanying the artist on her travels – which include stops at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, the Berlin Philharmonie and the famous Abbey Road Studios in London – an intimate portrait emerges.
