Hans Franzen

Hans Franzen (* 5 February 1935 in Verl; † 17 September 1993 in Zurich, Switzerland) was a German opera singer (bass). In 1971 Hans Franzen sang with Wolfgang Schöne at the Eutin Festival. Franzen successfully made his debut as an opera singer at the Zurich Opera House in 1975 and remained engaged there for several years. In 1982 he moved to Berlin and became a member of the ensemble of the Komische Oper.
