Pianist Kate Liu gained international acclaim after winning the Bronze Medal and Best Mazurka Prize at the 17th International Fryderyk Chopin Competition in Warsaw, Poland. As a soloist, she has performed at venues such as the Seoul Arts Center, Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, Weill Hall, Severance Hall in Cleveland, La Maison Symphonique de Montru00e9al, Warsaw National Philharmonic, Kennedy Center, Shanghai Concert Hall, Osaka Symphony Hall, and others. Orchestras she has collaborated with include the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Montreal Symphony Orchestra, and Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra.
