Solti conducts Bruckner: Symphony No. 6

Throughout his remarkable 22-year tenure as the music director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Georg Solti was credited for building on the orchestra's impressive heritage and bringing it as an unstoppable musical force into the CD era. At the heart of his repertoire was the Austro-Germanic symphonic tradition, of which Anton Bruckner was one of the last great exponents.
