Im Gespräch: Mutter, Barenboim und Ma über Beethovens Tripelkonzert

Anne-Sophie Mutter, Yo-Yo Ma & Daniel Barenboim, three of today’s most renowned classical artists and Beethoven interpreters, celebrate the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth with a recording of the Triple Concerto. The recording was made at a concert in Berlin October 2019 – to mark the West-Eastern Divan’s 20th birthday. In a third anniversary it is 40 years since the appearance of the legendary Triple Concerto recording made by Mutter and Ma under Herbert von Karajan in 1980. In this conversation, Daniel Barenboim, Anne-Sophie Mutter, and Yo-Yo Ma discuss Beethoven’s Triple Concerto, reflecting on the composer's timeless artistry and the remarkable history of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra.
