Anne-Sophie Mutter and her hand-picked Mutter's Virtuosi come to the legendary Musikverein in Vienna for a varied programme showcasing their versatility and skill. The Baroque is represented by Bach's celebrated Violin Concerto in A minor and invigorating Brandenburg Concerto No. 3, as well as Vivaldi's scintillating Concerto for Three Violins. From the Classical period, Mutter presents the A Major concerto by Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges – one of the most musical fascinating figures of the period – while the programme is completed by André Previn's Nonet of 2014, composed especially for the violinist and her ensemble.
