Enoch zu Guttenberg conducts Bach: St Matthew Passion

Conductor Enoch zu Guttenberg directs his Chorgemeinschaft Neubeuern and the Munich Bach Collegium in Bach's towering St Matthew Passion. With soloists including the baritone Hermann Prey, tenor Claes-Håkan Ahnsjö and alto Jard van Nes, the performance reflects a lifetime of engagement with Bach and his music by a conductor whose interpretations are always characterized by a compelling sense of drama and a fierce conviction.
