Under the patronage of German Bundespräsident Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the German Red Cross in Düsseldorf presents a major charity concert in the Düsseldorf Tonhalle, under the title "Concert for Humanity". The Kyiv Symphony Orchestra conducted by Stephan Frucht is joined by a starry line-up featuring Rolando Villazón, Daniel Hope, Albrecht Mayer, Daniel Müller-Schott and the remarkable cello prodigy Charlotte Melkonian for a wide-ranging programme spanning from Mozart and Bach to music by Max Richter and Friedrich Gulda.
